CURRIES have long been the favourite meal of Britons dining out.
But it looks as if they may have lost the crown to Italian cuisine.
More people are searching online for Italian than Indian restaurants, a survey reveals today.
Of more than 700,000 people monitored by a local business search engine, 13 per cent were looking for an Italian restaurant in their neighbourhood compared with 11.6 per cent seeking an Indian.
From personal observations, curry and other Indian food is rare (at best) in Italy. Wonder why?.. ;)
