Tenimenti Ca’ Bianca is the new name for the project directed at elevating and enhancing the wealth of vineyards and other assets of the cellar situated at Alice Bel Colle, in the province of Alessandria.
Tenimenti Ca’ Bianca is being developed on an area of more than 40 hectares in a single block encircling the vinification cellar, from which it offers a spectacular view. Most of the land is devoted to Barbera of which Tenimenti Ca’ Bianca supplies several styles in line with current tastes and trends. The remaining part of the area is able to offer interesting examples of Dolcetto, Gavi, Moscato and Brachetto which, together with the products of the vineyards in the Alba zone such as Barolo and Nebbiolo, complete and enrich the Estate’s range.

100% Nebbiolo of the Lampia and Michet varieties.

Vineyards situated on the hills of La Morra, one of the best zones of production. The vines are “contraspalliera – trained with the traditional Guyot pruning system, with a density of 4500 plants per hectare, on east – south/east facing, composite, clayey terrain, at 300 metres altitude. The yield of wine per hectare is about 52 hl.

Vinified by the red wine method, with a long maceration of the skins in the must. Nearly all of it is matured for about two years in oak casks, with part being aged in medium-toasted French barriques, there follows a period of ageing in the bottle for over one year.

Very bright garnet colour; elegant and ethereal bouquet of vanilla, cloves, dried wild rose petals and clean woodland undergrowth; dry, full, firm but velvety flavour with a fine, very lingering aftertaste of liquorice and oak.
