Tenimenti Ca’ Bianca is the new name for the project directed at elevating and enhancing the wealth of vineyards and other assets of the cellar situated at Alice Bel Colle, in the province of Alessandria. Tenimenti Ca’ Bianca is being developed on an area of more than 40 hectares in a single block encircling the vinification cellar, from which it offers a spectacular view. Most of the land is devoted to Barbera of which Tenimenti Ca’ Bianca supplies several styles in line with current tastes and trends. The remaining part of the area is able to offer interesting examples of Dolcetto, Gavi, Moscato and Brachetto which, together with the products of the vineyards in the Alba zone such as Barolo and Nebbiolo, complete and enrich the Estate’s range.

100% Moscato Bianco

Vineyards belonging to the property, situated on the eastern slopes of the hills of Alice Bel Colle, in Alto Monferrato, at 350 metres average altitude; the vines (4.500 plants/ha, with a yield of 60hl of wine per hectare) are trained by the controspalliera system with the traditional Guyot pruning on soil made up of sedimentary marl.

The slightly overripe grapes are subjected to a gentle pressing; the young must, not clarified but decanted by gravity, immediately starts to ferment in closed pressure tanks at a temperature of 15°C; the fermentation process is stopped by cooling as soon as the desired alcoholic strength has been reached, leaving a pleasant residue of natural sugar in the new wine.

Fine mousse and pale gold colour; delicate and intense bouquet, with touches of peaches and sage and hints of citrus fruits; sweet, clean flavour enlivened by an attractive citric note with a pleasant aftertaste of fruit.

5.10% alcohol; 5.85g/l total acidity; 3.20pH; 125g/l residual sugar; 21.7g/l extract.

Serve with fruit tarts, biscuits, hazelnut cakes, oven-baked pastries.

Serving temperature: 6-8°C.

In bottles stored horizontally in cool dark conditions; should be drunk young.
