Champagne Canard-Duchêne (Brut)

Champagne Canard-Duchêne (Brut)

Description: Brut

Country: France

Region: Champagne

Producer: Canard-Duchêne

Faithful to Ludes, its ancestors’ village, Canard-Duchêne has remained a House with a friendly touch. The House at Ludes wants to remain what it has always been, one of the most authentic and warmest Champagne Houses.

The personality of Canard-Duchêne comes as much from its founders as from its “terroir. Simple, warm, natural; Victor Canard and Léonie Duchêne wanted a Champagne which was close to their values.

Pleasant and accessible, the House wines still possess today the character which they wanted to give them, the symbol of a shared pleasure.

The three grape varieties are selected for the Brut blend in proportions which may vary year to year: Pinot Noir (35 to 40%) for its strength and character, Pinot Meunier (35 to 40%) for its fruit and subtlety, and Chardonnay (22 to 25%) for its finesse and elegance. Reserve wines, stored separately by cru, account for 20 to 25% of the blend.

Appearance: Straw yellow colour, fine mousse.
Nose: Intense fresh fruit aromas, characteristic of Pinot grapes.
Palate: Fruity notes, mingled with the fragrance of fresh brioche, a sign of maturity.

Pack Size: 6 x 750 ml
