Every year wines which combine the most authentic traditions with the most modern innovations leave the cellars of Fontana Candida. In line with the historic Frascati of Vigneto^? S. Teresa, Malvasia del Lazio and Cannellino, Fontana Candida can now offer the new Merlot and Kron wines.

Hills surrounding Rome.

The grapes are gathered between the middle of September and the end of October. They are immediately taken to the cellar^? and vinified by the white wine method, after a gentle pressing. After cold natural settling, the must^? is fermented at a controlled temperature (18°C) with selected yeasts^?. The new wine rests, until it is bottled, in thermostatically controlled stainless steel tanks under a blanket of nitrogen, to protect it from oxidation^?.

Light straw-yellow, tinge of green^? in colour. Delicate perfumes of field flowers and fruit especially hawthorn and golden apple^?. Dry^? taste^?, soft^? and fruity^? with a slight almondy overtone.

12% alcohol^? vol.

Excellent all purpose wine, especially with first courses, fish and cold white meats.

Serving temperature: 10-12°C.
