Typical examples are Bardolino and Valpolicella, as well as Amarone. The white wines include Lugana, Soave and the leading semi-sparkler: Turà.

95% Pinot Grigio
5% Chardonnay

Vineyards in Trentino and Veneto, on the hilly valley along the Adige river at 200m altitude. The training system is "pergola" (trellis), on well-exposed alluvial soil, with a solid skeleton and good drainage. The yield of grapes is 120 quintals/ha.

The grapes were picked towards the end of September and vinified off-skins after soft pressing. The clean must, after cold settling, ferments at 17-18°C with selected yeast. The new wine is then refined in stainless steel tanks.

Straw-yellow with copper hues. Attractive light floral notes with hints of honey and citrus. The palate is well-structured, dry, elegant and fruity with balanced hints of peaches, crushed nuts, some classic melon oiliness and minerals.

11.5% alcohol vol.

Serve with light hors d’ouvres, delicate first courses, fish and cold white meats.

Serving temperature: 10-12°C.

Ready to drink. It will keep for two years from year of harvest.
