Rapitalà has become part of the limited circle of great names which has fundamentally influenced the recent course of Sicilian oenology^?. The Rapitalà Winery^?, amongst the most up-to-date in Sicily, is situated in the magnificent estate^? of the same name, 175 hectares^? of which 105 are vineyard^? in the area of Camporeale, on gently rolling hills at between 300 and 600 metres where the perfect aspect and the composition of the soil make it ideal for the cultivation of the most prized vine varieties.

Selected grapes cultivated between 300 to 400 metres above sea level are trained by the Guyot^? system on clayey terrain with limited yields of grapes per hectare^?.

The grapes, picked in mid-September are vinified separately by the red wine method in small stainless steel containers. Average to long macerations and controlled temperatures help to give this product a good structure^?.

Ruby red colour, with a bouquet^? reminiscent of plum^?, berry and with hints of dark chocolate^? and violets. On the palate^?, it displays meaty blackberry and mineral^? character. Medium- to full-bodied, with good, solid tannins and a long finish^?.

13% alcohol^?; 5,10g/1 total acidity^?; 3,60ph; 2g/1 sugar^?; 28g/l dry^? extract^?.

Poultry of all kinds (guinea fowl^??, duck^?, turkey^? etc.). Roast white meats and mature cheeses.
