The Masi family has been making wine for three generations. It currently produces a wide range of wines (white, rose, red and dessert) from a variety of grapes all of which come from the area of Rufina and its surroundings (except for the Bianco Vergine Valdichiana).

95% Sangiovese
5% Canaiolo

Produced in the same production area as the Chianti.

Classical red vinification, with a period of maceration (skin contact) of about one week.

Ruby red colour, with a purple robe. Intense and fruity nose, with cherry-like flavour, typical of Sangiovese wine. On the palate it is medium bodied, smooth and balanced.

12,5% alcohol vol.

Serve with meat appetizers, first courses and grilled meats.

Serving temperature: 18°C.

Best enjoyed when young (2-3 years following the vintage). Can be cellared for a short period.
