The passion for wine in the Ziantoni family dates back to the early part of the 19th century, when the father of the founder started producing the typical white wine from Latium hills (Marino).

In 1972 the founder, Ovidio, moved with his family to the Valdichiana valley of Tuscany, creating the San Luciano estate.

Thanks to their origins, they know how to produce wonderful white wines; as for the reds, they committed to bringing out the best quality from native grapes, such as Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Montepulciano.

Over the years the winery has grown thanks to the help of Ovidio’s wife Gina and their sons Marco and Stefano, who are continuing the family tradition of producing quality wines.
