According to tradition, in 1897 the Oria family had several businesses, some of them established in Requena. At that time the family decided to move to the city of Requena, which prided itself on having a prosperous and flourishing silk industry.
It was in 1897 that they commissioned the famous Valencia architect, José Donderis, to build a mansion on the land that the family owned in the area of El Derramador, near Requena. This mansion hosts the current headquarters of the winery?.
1903 saw the completion of the current estate? was completed, and the family was able to move to their new residence and manage the vineyard? from there.
In 1954 their heirs decided to sell the majority of their properties, including Villa Iñigo and San José Palace Winery, current headquarters of Torre Oria.
In 1981 five couples went into business together to buy the current property, forming what would be the cooperative? company "La Solidaridad". Later, after two more couples had joined the group, they agreed to change the name to Sociedad Cooperativa Torre Oria, in homage to the Oria family. One of the new members, being an oenologist , was an expert in wines and especially in "Cavas" and thanks to his experience in the French region? of Champagne?. This was the stimulus behind the group's decision to begin producing Cava?, with the initial production of 30,000 bottles. In 1991, wanting to expand the Wineries, they sought a partner to provide capital and help them with managing the wines and Cavas business this is when the company Natra bought a stake in the company.
In the year 2011 an investing family from Valencia acquired all of Natra's shares with the intention of continuing with the ancient traditions of the winery, being committed to quality wines and Cavas with a modern style? in keeping with the consumers' tastes.

Made using the traditional Champagne? method, this wine is made from a selection of the finest Macabeo grapes. The blend? is then left to stand for 18 months on the lees? in the silence of our cellars where a secondary fermentation? takes place.
Pale yellow colour with golden highlights, uniform vertical? streams of fine bubbles. Powerful? clean? and persistent aromas. Magnificent freshness on the palate?.
