The "Azienda Agricola Ciccio Zaccagnini" was founded in 1978 and today produces approximately 500.000 bottles per year. Under the guidance of its winemaker, Concezio Marulli, the company applies the most up-to-date wine-making technologies and implements a total quality control system throughout the entire production process.

The history of the Zaccagnini vinery is rooted in the passionate relationship between man and nature, wine and arts, celebrated year after year, in November, with "Uvarte".

Famous artists are invited and dedicate a label to the winery. These labels are part of a collection line.

100% Pecorino.

Geographical vineyard position: municipality of Bolognano, C.da Pozzo.
Type of terrain: medium mix.
Training System: double Guyot 2,5 x 1 (4.000 p/ha).
Yield (grapes per hectare): 10 tons.

Manual harvesting by following the ripening curves. Soft crushing of grape, cryomaceration and vacuum pressing in order to extract the free run juice only, cold settling of must and low temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks of the clear portion only. Maturation and refining stage involves blending in stainless steel tanks and subsequent refinement in the bottle. The wine is released in the spring following the harvest.

The wine displays a bright yellow colour with greenish hues. Citrusy and aromatic on the nose with very pleasant overtones of grapefruit. Harmonious and persistent on the palate, with a fresh vein of natural acidity. Having medium alcoholic content, this wine should preferably be consumed during the year following the one of production in order to better enjoy its organoleptic characteristics.

Alcoholic content 13%; Total Ac. (g/l): 6,7.

Excellent as an aperitif and when consumed on its own. Especially recommended with raw fish and shell fish preparations.

Serving temperature: 10-12°C.
